When Do We Use It?

We use the Future Simple Passive voice when the action itself, or the receiver of the action, is more important than who or what will perform the action. It is often used in formal writing, news reports, and scientific contexts.

The Structural Formulas

Using "Will"

Object + will be + V3 (Past Participle)

Affirmative

The documents will be signed tomorrow.

Negative

The documents will not (won't) be signed tomorrow.

Question

Will the documents be signed tomorrow?

Using "Going to"

Object + am/is/are going to be + V3

Affirmative

A new hospital is going to be built here.

Negative

A new hospital isn't going to be built here.

Question

Is a new hospital going to be built here?
